Dyna fyr is a small wooden lighthouse perched on a tiny rocky islet in the Oslofjord, one of the few remaining staffed lighthouses in Norway and a genuinely charming subject with its red and white painted structure reflected in the surrounding water. You can reach it by ferry from Aker Brygge, which also gives you great shooting opportunities from the water as you approach. The classic composition frames the lighthouse tight against the fjord with the Oslo skyline or Bygdøy peninsula softly out of focus in the background; a longer focal length in the 70-200mm range works well for this. Golden hour light in the evening catches the painted woodwork beautifully, and calm days reward you with clean reflections off the water. The islet itself is small, so you have limited room to move, but the compact scale keeps compositions tight and focused. (Oslo, Norway)
