The E10 half-tunnels near Ramberg are a series of open-sided concrete galleries carved into the mountainside, offering dramatic framing of the Flakstadfjorden below. The curved tunnel openings act as natural frames, and you can position yourself inside one of the arches to compress the layers of fjord, mountain, and sky into a single shot. A wide-angle lens works well to capture the full sweep of the arch alongside the water beyond, while a longer focal length lets you isolate individual openings stacked in perspective along the road. Overcast days soften the harsh contrasts between the dark concrete and the bright water, though golden hour light cutting in from the side adds depth and texture to the concrete ribs. Pull off safely at the marked rest areas or on the wide shoulders, as traffic moves through regularly. (E10, Ramberg, Lofoten, Norway)
