Fireworks Spot
This rooftop vantage point along the Niagara Parkway puts you directly beneath the Niagara Falls fireworks display, giving you an unusually intimate and dramatic perspective on the explosions. Because the falls themselves are not in the frame, you can focus entirely on the burst patterns against the night sky, using the proximity to fill the frame with color and light. A medium telephoto in the 70-200mm range works well for isolating individual bursts, while a wider lens lets you capture sequences of overlapping explosions across the full sky. Bring a sturdy tripod and use a remote shutter release; exposures of two to four seconds work well for painting multiple bursts into a single frame. Check the Niagara Parks schedule in advance, as fireworks run on select evenings from spring through fall. Arrive early to secure a good position along the railing.
