Tucked inside a working equestrian facility near Al Quoz, this spot gives you one of Dubai's most unexpected compositions: lush green paddocks and horse stables in the foreground with the dense Sheikh Zayed Road skyline rising directly behind them. The contrast between the organic, earthy stable environment and the glass towers creates a striking tension that sets this apart from typical city shots. Position yourself along the perimeter to compress the scene with a telephoto lens, somewhere in the 70-200mm range, which will pull the skyline closer and make the towers loom larger behind the greenery. Golden hour in the late afternoon works best, as the warm light catches both the grass and the building facades evenly. Access is from the outside perimeter road, so scout the fence line for clear sightlines without obstructions. Overcast days can also work well, softening harsh midday shadows common in the desert climate. (Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
