Golden Jubilee Bridge

The Golden Jubilee Bridges are a pair of sleek cable-stayed pedestrian walkways flanking the Hungerford rail bridge, offering some of the most versatile viewpoints in central London. Walking across, you get unobstructed lines toward the London Eye to your east and the Houses of Parliament to your west, making this a strong spot for wide compositions that capture the sweep of the Thames. The cables and steel structure themselves make compelling foreground elements, especially when compressed with a longer focal length against the city skyline. Blue hour is the sweet spot here, when the bridge lights, the illuminated Eye, and the warm glow of the South Bank all balance nicely without harsh contrast. Both the north and south banks are easily accessible, and you can cross multiple times to compare angles. A 24-70mm covers most situations well, though a 70-200mm helps isolate the Parliament or Eye against the structure. (London, England, United Kingdom)
