HTO Park
HTO Park is an amazing gem tucked away along Toronto’s waterfront. The park features a unique mix of sand, bright yellow umbrellas, and colourful chairs spread across an open space, with the CN Tower rising clearly in the background. That view makes it easy to build compositions that mix relaxed beach elements with a strong city skyline. You can shoot low through the chairs, centre the umbrellas, or frame the tower between foreground details for more depth. It also works well at night, when the city lights and the illuminated CN Tower add contrast and atmosphere to the scene. It works well in different seasons, with snow adding contrast in winter and a busier, more vibrant feel in summer. Sunset is a great time to shoot as light comes across the water and warms up the scene. It is easy to access on foot and gives you plenty of room to move around and experiment.
