Igreja de São Francisco
Igreja de São Francisco is a 14th century Franciscan church in Porto, best known for its incredibly detailed interior covered in carved and gilded wood. From the outside it looks fairly simple, but inside it is packed with intricate gold work, baroque altarpieces, and layered carvings that fill almost every surface. It is one of those places where you will want to slow down and really look around, as there is detail everywhere you point your camera. Photography is allowed inside but without flash, so you will need to work with the available light, which can be quite low. It is a good spot for practicing steady shots and focusing on details rather than wide, bright scenes. It is easy to access in the historic centre and fits well into a walk through Porto.
