There is a road, boardwalk and bike path in the vicinity of where I shot this. You can position yourself and your tripod between the bikelane and the road to get a good long exposure with light trails from the passing traffic.

About Le Negresco Hotel
Le Negresco is one of the most iconic landmarks on the Promenade des Anglais, its distinctive pink dome and white Belle Époque facade making it immediately recognizable against the blue Mediterranean backdrop. Shoot from across the wide promenade to capture the full sweep of the building, or move closer to isolate the ornate entrance and its details with a longer lens. The hotel faces south, so midday light can be flat, but the warm golden hour before sunset hits the facade beautifully and brings out the creamy tones of the exterior. Early morning is ideal for clean shots without crowds or passing traffic cluttering the foreground. A wide angle works well for including the promenade's sweeping curve alongside the building, giving context and depth.
