The wide stone terrace gives you a clear, elevated sightline over the rooftops toward downtown skyscrapers, with Mont-Royal's forested slopes framing the sides of your frame. Shoot facing southeast to capture the full skyline spread, and consider using the ornamental lamp posts along the terrace as foreground elements to add depth. A wide angle lens works well for the full panorama, while a short telephoto lets you compress the city layers. Golden hour before sunset is ideal, with warm light washing across the buildings, and blue hour after sunset rewards you with a glowing skyline against a deep sky.
