Pont Mirabeau

Pont Mirabeau is one of Paris's most elegant steel arch bridges, stretching across the Seine with ornate bronze sculptures at its towers and decorative lamp posts that give it a strong graphic quality. For the best compositions, position yourself on the riverbank below to capture the full arch reflected in the water, or walk to the middle of the bridge and shoot along the Seine toward either the Eiffel Tower to the northeast or the quieter residential stretches to the west. The embankment paths on both sides offer low angles that let you frame the bridge against the sky. Early morning light works beautifully here before boat traffic disturbs the reflections, and blue hour adds a painterly glow to the bronze details and lamp posts. A wide-angle lens suits the full span from below; a short telephoto compresses the layers nicely from the bridge deck. Street parking and metro access are both convenient.
