Parvis des Droits de l'Homme
Standing on the elevated Trocadéro esplanade, this wide open plaza gives you one of the most iconic and unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower in all of Paris, framed symmetrically between the two curved wings of the Palais de Chaillot. The long axis of the Champ de Mars gardens draws your eye directly to the tower, making it a natural leading line from almost any position along the central axis. Shoot wide to capture the full symmetry of the esplanade, or zoom in to isolate the tower above the fountains and manicured lawns below. Blue hour and sunrise are the best times to visit, when the tower's lights are still glowing and the crowds are thin. A wide angle lens works well for the full scene, while a 70-200mm lets you compress the gardens and pull the tower closer. Tripods are welcome here and the ground is flat and easy to navigate.
