Roppongi Hills Mori Tower
The Tokyo City View observation deck on the 52nd floor of Mori Tower puts you above much of the skyline with sweeping 360-degree views across Tokyo, including a direct sightline toward Tokyo Tower to the southwest and Mount Fuji on clear days to the west. The wide wraparound indoor deck and the rooftop Sky Deck above it give you two distinct shooting experiences, with the Sky Deck offering open-air access and unobstructed glass-free shots. Shoot Tokyo Tower at night when it glows orange against the dark sky, or arrive just before sunset to catch the transition from golden hour into the city lights coming on. A wide-angle lens works well for sweeping cityscapes, while a telephoto lets you compress distant landmarks.
