Inside, the golden mosaics and painted iconostasis create a layered, luminous scene best captured with a wide-angle lens to take in the full dome or a longer focal length to isolate the altar details. Natural light filters through the windows and lifts the interior during midday, though the warm artificial lighting inside works well in any condition.
