St Pancras New Church is one of London's finest examples of Greek Revival architecture, its grand Ionic columns and terracotta caryatid figures making it a striking subject in an otherwise busy urban stretch of Euston Road. The caryatid porches on the north and south sides are the standout detail to focus on, so get close with a 24-70mm lens and shoot upward to emphasize the sculpted female figures supporting the entablature. For a wider establishing shot, cross to the opposite pavement and use a moderate wide angle to capture the full facade with the tower rising above. Overcast days work well here, softening the harsh contrasts you get from direct sunlight on white stone, though early morning on a clear day gives you warm light on the south-facing columns with minimal foot traffic. The churchyard wraps around to quieter sides where you can find cleaner angles away from the bus stops and street clutter. (London, England)
