St Pancras International is one of London's most photogenic Victorian Gothic structures, combining the dramatic red-brick facade of the former Midland Grand Hotel with the soaring iron and glass train shed behind it. Outside, the ornate towers and pointed arches reward a wide-angle lens, and positioning yourself across Euston Road gives you the full facade with room to include the street and passing traffic for scale. Inside the station, the blue-painted lattice ironwork of the train shed is stunning, especially from the upper-level walkway where you can look down along the platforms and use the arching roof as a natural frame. Early morning on weekdays gives you the best light through the eastern glass end of the shed, with long shafts cutting across the concourse before the crowds build. A 16-35mm lens handles both the exterior grandeur and the interior geometry well. (London, England, United Kingdom)
