About Sunflower Fields
Sunflowers are always a photogenic shooting subject, and this field outside of Cumberland is no exception. It may be a private field so be sure to shoot from the public roads and don't damage the farmer's crops. Sunflowers will face east in the morning and follow the sun as the earth moves during the day. However, as the flowers get heavier during seed production, the stems will stiffen and the mature flower heads will generally remain facing east.(Cumberland, Ontario, Canada)
