Rising 309 metres above the Sydney CBD, Sydney Tower Eye gives you an unobstructed 360-degree view over one of the world's most iconic harbour cities. From the observation deck, you can frame the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge together against the sprawling city, or turn south to capture the suburban grid stretching toward the Blue Mountains. The outdoor Skywalk platform lets you shoot without glass in the way, which makes a real difference in sharpness and reduces reflections. A wide to standard zoom in the 16-35mm range works well for sweeping cityscapes, while a longer lens lets you compress distant landmarks. Golden hour and blue hour are the standout times to visit; sunrise bathes the eastern harbour in warm light, and dusk turns the city into a sea of glowing windows. Book an early or late session to avoid crowds and give yourself time to work all four sides of the deck. (Sydney, New South Wales, Australia)
