This narrow residential street in Taito City offers one of Tokyo's most satisfying compressed-perspective shots, where low-rise rooftops and utility lines frame the towering Skytree rising sharply in the background. The contrast between the dense, everyday urban fabric and the futuristic spire makes for a compelling image that captures two sides of Tokyo in a single frame. Position yourself along the center of the street and use a short telephoto lens, around 85mm to 135mm, to flatten the layers and make the Skytree appear even more dominant against the cityscape. Overcast days work well here by softening shadows in the tight street corridor, though blue hour adds atmosphere and brings out lights in the surrounding buildings. The area is easily walkable from Asakusa Station, and mornings tend to be quieter with fewer pedestrians moving through the frame. (Asakusa, Taito City, Tokyo, Japan)
