View of Tokyo Skytree
The Jikken Bridge offers one of the cleaner unobstructed views of Tokyo Skytree, framing the tower above a narrow canal with flat water that doubles the reflection when conditions are calm. Position yourself at the center of the bridge and shoot straight toward the tower, letting the canal walls and railing create natural leading lines that pull the eye upward. This spot works best at blue hour, just after sunset, when the sky holds enough color to balance the tower's illumination without going fully dark; full night gives you a punchier, more graphic shot if that is what you are after. A wide to standard focal length, around 24 to 50mm, handles the composition well without distortion. Arriving early on calm, windless evenings gives you the best chance at a clean reflection. The bridge is compact, so be mindful of foot traffic when setting up a tripod. (Sumida, Tokyo, Japan)
