Trillium Park View
Trillium Park sits on the western edge of Ontario Place, offering one of the cleanest unobstructed views of the Toronto skyline across the water. The shoreline here gives you a low angle right at the water's edge, where you can use the lake's surface as a natural reflector to mirror the city lights or pick up golden hour glow. Shoot from the rocky waterfront to include foreground texture, or step back onto the open lawn to compress the skyline with a longer focal length. Blue hour and after dark are when this spot truly delivers, as the CN Tower and surrounding towers light up against the sky. A wide to short telephoto lens in the 24 to 85mm range works well depending on how much of the skyline you want to include. Parking is available nearby and the area is easy to walk around.
