Ambleside Park
Ambleside Park sits along the West Vancouver waterfront with a direct sightline across Burrard Inlet toward the Lions Gate Bridge, Stanley Park, and the downtown Vancouver skyline. The eastern end of the park gives you the strongest compositions, where you can frame the bridge spanning the First Narrows with the forest of Stanley Park behind it and city towers visible on clear days. A wide to standard zoom works well here, letting you compress the bridge and skyline together or pull back to include the shoreline in the foreground. Shoot during the blue hour before sunrise or just after sunset when the bridge lights up and the sky holds color above the inlet. The beach and rocky shoreline offer natural foreground interest, and low tide exposes stones and reflective wet sand that add depth to the frame.
