Stanley Park Seawall
The Stanley Park Seawall wraps around the edge of one of North America's great urban parks, offering constantly changing views of Vancouver Harbour, the North Shore mountains, and the Lions Gate Bridge. The stretch near Prospect Point gives you the closest angles on the bridge, where a wide or standard zoom lens lets you frame the span against the mountains behind it. Further along toward Third Beach, the seawall opens up with clean waterfront compositions looking back toward the downtown skyline. Golden hour and blue hour both reward you here, with soft reflected light on the water and the city lights beginning to glow. The path is paved and accessible year-round, though early morning visits mean fewer cyclists and pedestrians in your shots. Parking is available inside the park, or you can walk in from the Coal Harbour side for easy access to the eastern waterfront sections. (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
