Boeing 737-200 PK RII

This retired Boeing 737-200 sits in an open field in southern Bali, its faded livery and weathered fuselage creating a striking contrast against the surrounding tropical greenery. You can shoot the full length of the aircraft from a low angle to emphasize its scale, or get close to the nose for a dramatic wide-angle perspective that fills the frame. The cockpit windows and peeling exterior details reward macro or mid-range shots as well. Overcast days work surprisingly well here, softening harsh shadows and bringing out the textures of the aging paintwork; golden hour light from the east catches the fuselage nicely in the morning. The plane is accessible on foot and sits low to the ground with no barriers, so you can move freely around all sides.
