Hog's Back Lookout
Hog's Back Lookout is a great place to shoot the Rideau River as is flows through the rocky section of Hog's Back Park, this view features the rocky cliff side of the riverbed and also a great view of the falls. The river's appearance changes with the change of season. In the winter when the water flow rate is lower, the fall could freeze up, and present themselves in a totally different fashion. And in early spring of the year, lots of water could come through the water way upstream. That would make the waterfalls look much wilder, with thundering sounds filling up the ears of the spectators. (Ottawa, Ontario)
