JBR Beach
JBR Beach is a wide, sandy stretch along the Arabian Gulf where you can frame the striking skyline of Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai, the world's tallest observation wheel, rising dramatically above the waterfront. The best compositions place the wheel as your anchor point, using the shoreline as a natural leading line curving toward the island. Shooting from a low angle at the water's edge adds foreground interest, especially when gentle waves leave a reflective sheen on the wet sand. The golden hour before sunset works particularly well, bathing the scene in warm light, while blue hour after sunset brings out the wheel's lights against a deep sky. A wide angle lens handles the full scene comfortably, though a short telephoto lets you compress the skyline for a tighter, more dramatic look. The beach is easily accessible and open throughout the day. (Dubai Marina, Dubai, United Arab Emirates)
