The sheer density of color and variety of compositions means you will want a wide-angle lens to capture the grand structures and a longer focal length to isolate individual floral textures and details. Arrive early when the garden opens to avoid crowds and get clean shots of the archways and tunnels as leading lines. Overcast days are ideal since harsh midday desert sun can blow out the bright petals, but golden hour in the morning also gives warm, flattering light.
