The Marina Promenade is a curved waterfront walkway lined with palms and flanked by some of Dubai's most dramatic residential towers, giving you a dense, layered skyline that reflects across the calm marina water below. Work the reflections by shooting low from the water's edge, or use the palm-lined path as a leading line pulling toward the towers in the background. A wide-angle lens handles the full sweep of the marina well, while a short telephoto lets you compress the architecture into tighter, more graphic compositions. Blue hour is the sweet spot here, when the sky holds enough color to balance the building lights and the water reflections are at their most vivid.
