Mundesley Beach is a quiet stretch of Norfolk coastline backed by soft sandstone cliffs, colourful beach huts, and a raised promenade that gives you an elevated vantage point over the shore. The timber groynes running out across the sand are the standout compositional element here, offering strong leading lines that draw the eye toward the horizon. Shoot from low on the sand at wide angle to exaggerate the groynes stretching seaward, or step back onto the promenade to include the beach huts as foreground colour against the sky. Golden hour at sunrise works particularly well, with warm light raking across the wet sand and illuminating the weathered timber. The beach is accessible via a slipway and steps from the promenade, and at low tide the exposed sand gives you more room to move and stronger reflections. A wide zoom in the 16-35mm range suits this location well. (Mundesley, Norfolk, England)
