Olden kyrkje

Olden kyrkje is a striking red wooden church from 1934, set against a dramatic backdrop of lush green hillsides and the glacially carved valley that defines this part of the Norwegian fjordlands. The vivid red facade contrasts beautifully with the surrounding forest and mountains, giving you strong color separation even in flat light. Position yourself across the road or slightly downhill to capture the church with the valley rising behind it, or move closer to use the white-trimmed windows and clean architectural lines as your main subject.
