Outside, the ornate facade works well with a wide angle lens to capture the full height of the structure against the sky, especially in the early morning when the street is quiet and golden light falls directly on the front. Step inside and you will find the gilded Buddha surrounded by thousands of smaller statues and offerings, creating a layered, atmospheric composition. A standard or short telephoto lens lets you isolate details like the intricate carvings or candlelit altars without disturbing worshippers.
