Polson Pier sits along Toronto's eastern waterfront and gives you a wide, unobstructed view across the inner harbour toward the downtown skyline, with the CN Tower anchoring the composition on the left. The long dock stretches out into the water, letting you walk to different positions and adjust how much foreground water you include. A wider lens in the 16-35mm range works well for capturing the full skyline, while a longer focal length lets you compress the towers and pull the CN Tower closer. Shoot facing west so that golden hour light wraps across the buildings, and stay through blue hour when the city lights reflect across the water for a cleaner, more dramatic result.
