View of Toronto City Skyline
Riverdale Park East sits on a gentle hill in the city's east end, offering one of the most unobstructed and elevated views of the Toronto skyline you will find within the city itself. The CN Tower anchors the left side of the frame while the downtown core spreads across your field of view, with the Don Valley in the foreground adding depth and texture. A wide to short telephoto lens in the 24-70mm range works well here, letting you either go wide for context or compress the skyline for a tighter, more dramatic composition. Sunrise is the prime time to visit, when golden light catches the glass towers and the sky transitions through soft pinks and oranges behind you. The hill is easy to walk up from Broadview Avenue, and the open grassy slope gives you plenty of room to adjust your position and fine-tune the framing. (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
