The Inuksuit installation at English Bay is a striking collection of stacked-stone figures arranged along the seawall, creating a powerful foreground element against the backdrop of English Bay, the North Shore mountains, and downtown Vancouver's skyline. Shooting low and wide with a 16-35mm lens lets you include multiple Inuksuit in the frame while keeping the mountains or waterfront in the background. You can also isolate a single figure against the water or sky for a cleaner, more graphic shot. Golden hour in the evening is ideal here, as the warm light hits the stones from the west while the city glows softly behind you. The beach faces west, making sunset the standout time to visit.
