This waterfront promenade in False Creek gives you one of Vancouver's most rewarding urban compositions, with Science World's geodesic dome anchoring the foreground and the downtown skyline rising behind it across the water. Walk the seawall path and experiment with different positions: shooting from the water's edge puts the dome front and center, while stepping back toward the residential buildings lets you use the bridge and curved walkway as leading lines into the frame. Turning west gives you a strong angle on BC Place, especially when the stadium's illuminated roof glows after dark. Blue hour and evening are when this spot truly delivers, with city lights reflecting across the calm water of False Creek. A wide to mid-range zoom lens works well here. The path is flat, paved, and easily accessible year-round. (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
