View of Centerm
From the promenade at Canada Place, you get a clean elevated view across Burrard Inlet toward Centerm, one of the Port of Vancouver's main container terminals, with cranes, stacked shipping containers, and vessel traffic creating a layered industrial waterfront scene. The wide foreground of the inlet gives you room to play with reflections on calm mornings, and a telephoto lens in the 70-200mm range helps compress the distance and pull the cranes and containers into a tighter, more dramatic frame. Shoot from the outer edge of the Canada Place walkway and angle slightly east to get the terminal filling the middle ground with the North Shore mountains rising behind it. Early morning on overcast days softens the light evenly across the scene, while blue hour just after sunset adds city glow and smooths the water with longer exposures. The promenade is fully accessible and open year-round. (Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada)
