City hall of Paris, this renaissance styled building makes a fantastic shooting location. Located near the Seine river banks, some creative framing and careful planning can make for an excellent shooting location. You can shoot from the far end of the square on the west side and up Victoria Avenue. But we are fond of the angle on the opposite bank of the Seine river with Pont d'Arcole (Arcole bridge) in the foreground. We recommend shooting at dusk or night as the Hôtel de Ville is illuminated year-round. For extra photographic character, visit during the holidays and see the beautiful Christmas lights on display.
