View of Roger Centre

View of Roger Centre - Photo by @ns.photos251 / 1

The top level of the Harbour Street parking structure gives you an elevated, unobstructed view of Rogers Centre and the Gardiner Expressway cutting through the foreground, with the CN Tower rising behind. The elevated vantage point lets you use the expressway's curves and lanes as leading lines drawing the eye toward the stadium and tower. Blue hour and the first hour after sunset are ideal, when the sky holds a deep gradient and the city lights begin to glow without fully overpowering the ambient light. A wide angle lens captures the full sweep of the scene, while a short telephoto lets you compress the expressway traffic against the illuminated dome. Bring a tripod for long exposures to smooth out traffic trails. The parking structure is accessible by car or on foot, and the top level is generally quiet enough to set up without much interference.
